11/7/25 It really sucks that people who have “recorded” shows on their “DVR” have lost access to those “recordings”. It’s just another reminder that these services just aren’t as good as ones that actually put a recording on a device you own, like a TiVo.
11/6/25 Yet another reason to not trust GM with their commitment to do anything other than attempt to extract subscription dollars from people who buy their vehicles. They don’t care about their owners’ experience, they just want the money.
11/5/25 It’s a big night for Democrats. Let’s hope the momentum stays high (or picks up steam) going into next year’s midterms. (Oof, another year.)
11/5/25 I’m using Claude Code on the Web, and it’s pretty neat so far. The option of having a few different sessions all working in parallel in the cloud, and being able to check in on their progress from mobile, is a nifty one. It’s worth checking out with the free credit until Nov. 18.
11/3/25 The detail on how companies are structuring the debt they’re taking on to build data centers is interesting, and scary. The financial engineering around the AI boom is all too reminiscent of other boom/bust cycles, so I guess we just have to hope to dodge the bust this time.
11/3/25 Can you imagine any other president saying this on TV to a reporter? Can you imagine if Biden or Obama had said anything of the sort?
