Thoughts on Family

It takes effort to keep adult friendships going, as I was reminded by a recent article. Here are a couple of thoughts and a practical tip that I’ve found to work for me.

“Grandpap” is how I grew up addressing my maternal grandfather, William Stevenson, Sr. He would have been 100 years old today; he passed away on May 17, 2018 at the age of 92. I didn’t write a post about him then. Now seems like the next best time to write one.

Apple’s 50th has stoked nostalgia about the early days of personal computing, which made me want to take a moment to thank my mom and dad for recognizing and investing in my love of computing.
