What a rollercoaster this device has been on. After the long delay since it was rumored to arrive, it might now have to go head-to-head with OpenAI’s rumored device. If the current state of Siri AI (in beta) and GPT-Live are any indication, it’s going to be a fight.
Now that I’ve had more time to work with the new ChatGPT app, I’m even more convinced that it is “New Coke”-level bad. But read on, because GPT-Live—also introduced this week—is compelling.

I agree with Manton here: I don’t want the rest of that stuff in the Codex app, which has been getting solid improvements over time. Crowding it with the other stuff sounds bad.
