What’s happening in Minnesota is disgusting and un-American. The people running the government are, as Krugman’s post points out, monsters. Perhaps worst of all are the craven enablers.

Hegseth’s actions are absolutely despicable.

I thought that the Trump administration was simply not enforcing existing laws and protections, but it turns out that there is more of a legal basis than I understood. This is an article well worth reading.

Can you imagine any other president saying this on TV to a reporter? Can you imagine if Biden or Obama had said anything of the sort?
