The streaming service called Tubi is one of the official ways to stream the Super Bowl this year, and I noticed they have a native app for the Vision Pro. I'm sure it's not using any of the Vision Pro's real promise for sporting events, but I'll try it out anyway.
Anyone reading this should [turn on Advanced Data Protection](https://support.apple.com/en-us/108756), which encrypts iCloud backups, which aren't encrypted by default. (Make doubly sure that you have your Recovery Key protected if you do). Once you do, even Apple can't decrypt your backups, even if asked by a government.
"Support for links is the basic requirement of the web[...]. If you don't support links not only aren't you the web, you're anti-web." I can't think of a more basic requirement for the Web, let alone the "social web". I'd add that it has to be two-way linking, as well.
We focus on the times when LLMs do a bad job, but since humans are deliberately doing a bad job pretty regularly, this might be a good use for the tech.

I ended up on IBM Plex Mono, although the font I've been using, Berkeley Mono, isn't in the game, presumably because it's not free. One note that really affected the outcome of the game for me: make sure to adjust the font size and ligature on/off options to what you usually use in your editor.
I found this episode of "On With Kara Swisher" to be an excellent listen. Yann LeCun, Meta's chief AI scientist, is a fascinating guest and Swisher did a good job interviewing him. It's definitely worth a listen if you're at all interested in LLMs and AI.
Ugh, a new cable. Sure, technology marches on, but I don't look forward to trying to guess whether or not I've got the right HDMI cable again.
I've been using the new display modes in visionOS 2.2 since they came out in beta, including on four plane trips and one day in my van. As the article says, "...if it’s not in killer app territory, it’s at least right next door to it."

Apple working with Sony for hand controller support is great news, if true. The hand controls are good, but they're not good enough for a lot of games.
