You’d think that there would be a ton of good 3-in-1 MagSafe travel chargers, but they have all left something to be desired, until now. The Mophie 3-in-1 Portable Travel Charger is excellent.

Oof, this sucks. As someone who goes through Frankfurt—already the airport that hurts the most when flying in Europe—a few times a year, this was a benefit that I appreciated. No explanation, no apparent other benefit to replace it, just a loss of a valuable benefit.

I’m finishing up my latest trip to Poland for work. Our office is next to Spodek, which is an arena in Katowice. “Spodek” means “saucer” in English, and it’s shaped like a flying saucer. I love that it plays the musical tones from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Look, I get this take. Let’s just not forget that disconnecting isn’t possible for everyone all the time, and maybe hold back a bit on the judgment over how much your fellow traveler spent on his rig or how much he’s using Starlink.

Always pay in local currency and use a credit card that has no fees for international currency conversion. Change this setting in Uber to avoid a fee with them as well.
