Thoughts on TV

While the First Doctor was never my favorite, this is still very cool. I’d love to see these early episodes.

Very cool! As a life-long viewer of Jeopardy! and a long-time follower of Snell’s, it’s fun to see those worlds cross over.

The Splay seems interesting in that it packs up small, so that it would be easy to pack and transport safely, but big enough to be a useful display in the van. It’s pricey, and its bulk when set up means I’d really like to try one before thinking about purchasing one.

This is a lovely article about a beloved show and, in particular, the music that defined it.

It really sucks that people who have “recorded” shows on their “DVR” have lost access to those “recordings”. It’s just another reminder that these services just aren’t as good as ones that actually put a recording on a device you own, like a TiVo.

As far as I’m concerned, the local TV affiliates should keep their politics to themselves (or to their own editorial channels) or decide to not be an affiliate.

Good news about _ST:SNW_. I love the show so far, and knowing that it’s locked in for two seasons is nice. I never got much into _Lower Decks_, but it seems like five seasons is a good run.
