10/22/25 I wasn’t in too much danger of buying a GM vehicle at this point, but this definitely kills even the remote chance that did exist.
10/19/25 This was a really great interview with Eddy Cue about Apple TV. Kudos to host Matthew Belloni (and to Cue) for an interview that was more engaging than most that I’ve seen with Apple brass.

10/17/25 You just _know_ Doctorow is right: we’ll be getting sold stuff by AI with little visibility in no time. It’s hard to see what the incentive structures are, and I have no doubt that moral clarity alone is not enough to deter the leaders of those companies from tapping that keg.
