I've got an Apple TV attached to my home theater system, with a Marantz receiver at its center. Recently, the remote stopped being able to control the receiver's volume, when it was able to control it fine before. I was able to get it working again by performing a reset on the Apple TV remote by simultaneously holding down the "TV" button and the down volume button for ten seconds.
