Is Tamron preparing new prime lenses for the Nikon 1 mirrorless system?
Interesting rumor. While I'd be happy to see third parties developing lenses for the Nikon 1 system, I'm surprised at this group; they're all pretty long lenses.

Tamron filed a patent in Japan for several prime lenses designed for a camera with 1″ sensor. Those lenses are probably intended for the Nikon 1 mirrorless camera, unless the new Canon mirrorless camera also has a 1″ sensor.
