Nikon 85mm f/1.8 Tops DxOMark
DxOMark has concluded that the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 "is the best 85mm lens in the DxOMark database". In fact, it's at the top of lenses overall, according to their lens database.
I don't think it ended up being most popular on the Nikon 1 system, but I'd love to have one for both my Nikon 1 and my D800.
