The House of Prime Rib is one of my favorite restaurants ever, full stop. I'll admit that I never gave any thought to the ownership in particular, but I'll certainly raise a glass to Mr. Betz for making and keeping it the quintessential San Francisco institution that it is.

What an interesting, weird article. People on X have been using a gamer term to describe a pretty complicated concept. I'm not on X these days, so this article, surreal as it is, was my first exposure to it.
