“Star Wars Returns to Theaters for 50th Anniversary”
I’m in.
Ainsley and I went to see _Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair_ last night, and it was simply fantastic.
I wonder who she’ll be. Vicki Vale? Poison Ivy? 🤔 On a tangential note, I’ve been belatedly catching up on _The Penguin_, which has been fantastic so far.
Netflix continues to make its service worse for users, while raising prices.
Oh, man, yet another reboot? That seems like a bad idea. I’d rather see a _Strange New Worlds_ movie.
It really sucks that people who have “recorded” shows on their “DVR” have lost access to those “recordings”. It’s just another reminder that these services just aren’t as good as ones that actually put a recording on a device you own, like a TiVo.
It took me a long time to get through season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The bottom line is that it’s just not very good, unfortunately. I loved the earlier seasons, but this one is a let down.
I’m glad to see this kind of thing, and I hope—as the article indicates—that the other chains continue to invest in their large-format screens. In particular, I’d love to see more 70mm-capable IMAX screens. It’s one of the few things that gets me to go to the theater anymore.
A Soderbergh Star Wars film, and they said “no”?! All because they couldn’t figure out how Kylo Ren could have survived, after all the Palpatine nonsense that they let through? Crazy!
PSA to Netflix users: Prepare to be the slowly boiled frog.
