"New 'Star Trek' Film in Works from Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley"
Oh, man, yet another reboot? That seems like a bad idea. I'd rather see a _Strange New Worlds_ movie.

It really sucks that people who have "recorded" shows on their "DVR" have lost access to those "recordings". It's just another reminder that these services just aren't as good as ones that actually put a recording on a device you own, like a TiVo.
[rating stars="1"] It took me a long time to get through season 3 of _Star Trek: Strange New Worlds_. The bottom line is that it's just not very good, unfortunately. I loved the earlier seasons, but this one is a let down.
I'm glad to see this kind of thing, and I hope—as the article indicates—that the other chains continue to invest in their large-format screens. In particular, I'd love to see more 70mm-capable IMAX screens. It's one of the few things that gets me to go to the theater anymore.
A Soderbergh Star Wars film, and they said "no"?! All because they couldn't figure out how Kylo Ren could have survived, after all the Palpatine nonsense that they let through? Crazy!
PSA to Netflix users: Prepare to be the slowly boiled frog.
This was a really great interview with Eddy Cue about Apple TV. Kudos to host Matthew Belloni (and to Cue) for an interview that was more engaging than most that I've seen with Apple brass.
I haven't been following F1 for a while, but I will dip in and check out this coverage. They didn't explicitly mention Vision Pro. I'm still hoping that there will be a more immersive experience for Vision Pro.
Oof, that's a long movie, intermission or no. Still, I might have to seek out a 70mm showing.
