“Claude’s Criminally Bad Electron Mac App Is an Inside Job”
🤣
Forcing Mac app icons into a “squircle” shape is one of the weird, bad changes introduced in Tahoe, and it continues into the first developer beta of macOS 27 Golden Gate. Let’s hope the powers-that-be can be convinced to free the icons.
Boy, if this report is true, I feel like I picked the absolute best time to upgrade to an M5 Max, pre-price hike and potentially the last Max-level chip for more than a year.

I’ve been using the new display modes in visionOS 2.2 since they came out in beta, including on four plane trips and one day in my van. As the article says, “…if it’s not in killer app territory, it’s at least right next door to it.”
