If you’ve ever ridden the Resolution Trail at Skegg’s Point in San Mateo, you may have heard that it’s named after a plane crash that happened there in the ‘50s or even seen some of the wreckage which still dots the area. KGO is running a story about the crash, which happened in 1953. Interestingly, it’s the largest (and last) major air accident at the airport.
