This is a smart move, but there's no way I want the TV manufacturers who are spying on everything we watch to also have robots mapping our house and doors, locks, cameras, etc. grabbing that data either. They may not be perfect, but I believe Apple's incentives align with my own for the most part, so I'm sticking to HomeKit devices as much as possible.
